FirstLocal Features: Call Screening & Blocking

Call Screening allows you to block up to 10 designated telephone numbers, even if you don't know the source of the calls. Screened callers hear a special announcement that says you're not taking calls. To activate Call Screening: (1) Press *60 (dial 1160 on a rotary phone), (2) You will hear the announcement that gives the current status of the Call Screening list, (3) You will then hear recorded step-by-step instructions on how to add and remove numbers on your Call Screening list, or, how to turn the service on or off, (4) Selected callers hear, "The person you are calling does not wish to receive calls at this time and has activated Call Screening service."
